Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the daughter of a Russian Indian mother and a Hindu Afghan father. She has a good command of German Russian English. Her parents are Russian and Indian. When she was 11 she choreographed and performed a dance which resulted in the honor of a German television show. The show included a snow maiden from Russia that transformed into an entertaining Indian dancer. Her high school graduation was successful with a bachelor's diploma from the Department of English at the University of New York. She took classes in acting in the HB Studios. However, she left to pursue improvisational comedy at the Groundlings School. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru and the Russian mother Olga. Her father moved her to New York, when she was 13 year old. She appears on FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. In FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most notable TV performance. Her most well-known role is the roles she has played in Fox's The Following & NBC's The Blacklist.
